"Deep Sea Fishin" is a self inspired painting that took the artist underwater when she couldn't stop seeing a fishing hook that appeared during the painting process. From that moment she created a story within this piece. Picture this...an underwater world that surrounded this sinking gold hook. Living organisms and green algae begin to take on its form while plankton starts to surface, flashing brightly from being disturbed by this man man object. As the hook sinks deeper to the ocean floor, a polluted path follows forcing marine life out of its way, creating cloudiness in the water. Meanwhile a fluorescent jellyfish gracefully glides through the commotion, casting a gentle, otherworldly glow that adds a serene touch and stillness. Its slow, rhythmic movements create a poetic dance, captivating you with a calm sense of wonder.
